CalTracs - Standard 63-64 Ford Galaxie

Designed by race legend John Calvert, CalTracs are a bolt-on traction system that offers full pre-load adjustability. They prevent axle rotation, maintain pinion angle, and improve 60-foot times. The bars are black powder-coated for durability. The preload link is made with Chromoly for maximum leverage and minimum flex. The 3/4" rod ends have a radial static load capacity of over 14,000 pounds. The two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushings assembly ensures the front pivot is squared and rigid. The rear mounts are constructed from 5/16" mild steel to withstand correct torque on u-bolts, preventing rear-end movement. Rod Ends/Heim Joints now include grease zerks to reduce chatter. Low profile (1-hole) pivot plates are available, offering approximately 1.5" more ground clearance for daily street driving. U-bolts are not included but are available separately.
