CalTracs Standard Traction System

The Calvert Racing CalTracs Standard (6400) is a bolt-on traction system engineered by race legend John Calvert to enhance vehicle launch performance. This system provides full pre-load adjustability, effectively keeping the axle from rotating under torque and maintaining critical pinion angle, which directly contributes to improved 60-foot times. Constructed with quality materials, the CalTracs system features a Chromoly preload link for maximum leverage and minimal flex. The ¾” Rod Ends boast a radial static load capacity exceeding 14,000 pounds, ensuring durability. For a squared and rigid front pivot, it includes a two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushing assembly. The rear mounts are crafted from 5/16” mild steel, designed to withstand significant torque on your u-bolts and prevent rear-end movement. This kit includes 2-hole pivot plates and comes with a full-color installation guide. Please note that u-bolts are not included but are available for purchase separately. For proper installation and optimal performance, it is recommended to use your vehicle's leaf springs and u-bolts. This specific kit is built for the 1964-1965 Ford Falcon and the 1967-1973 Ford Mustang equipped with a 9″ axle, Standard Eye, and an axle tube diameter between 2.8″ and 3.25″.
