Calvert Split Mono-Leaf Springs are preferred nationwide by drag racing enthusiasts for being substantially lighter than multi-leaf springs thus saving unsprung weight, and putting horsepower to the ground! They are made to work in conjunction with Calvert's CalTracs Traction Bars for maximum traction and are available in various ride height options. Sold in pairs and include heavy-duty alignment spring clamps. These springs are designed for DRAG RACING and have a higher spring rate / stiffer ride than stock springs. All Calvert Racing SPLIT MONO and MONO SPRINGS and HARDWARE are proudly MADE IN USA and assembled to order in our California facility. Parabolic rear half design distributes the main spring pressure point through the length of the half, reducing spring breakage over time. Overlapping the spring halves contributes to the strength necessary to withstand hard accelerations and stops on the track. All of Calvert Racing’s 2.5″ wide Split Mono Leafsprings are assembled to order with Calvert designed and manufactured grade 8 hardware and heavy-duty alignment clamps. Aluminum bushings are pressed into the front spring eyes and polyurethane bushings in the rear spring eyes, these springs have been proven to withstand over 2,500 HP at ¼ mile ETs in the 6s.
