The Calvert Racing CalTracs Standard Traction Bars (4259) are designed by race legend John Calvert. This bolt-on traction system offers full pre-load adjustability, keeps the axle from rotating, and maintains pinion angle, all of which improve 60-foot times. The preload link is made with Chromoly, offering lightweight strength and maximum leverage with minimum flex. ¾-inch Rod Ends have a radial static load capacity of over 14,000 pounds. The two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushings assembly keeps the front pivot squared and rigid. Rear mounts are made with 5/16-inch mild steel to withstand correct torque on u-bolts, preventing rear-end movement. This complete set includes two rear mounts, four pivot plates, four heim joints/rod ends, two force transfer links, and required hardware. Note that this kit is designed to use your existing leaf springs and U-bolts. Black powder-coated for durability.
