The GForce GF-CBTEXT is a specialized tool kit designed to simplify and enhance the accuracy of cam bearing replacement in GM LS Series Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines manufactured between 1997 and 2014. The included Bore Extender Fixture is crucial for correctly installing the final cam bearing, guaranteeing that all bearings are seated straight and concentrically once the job is complete. The kit includes the LS Cam Bearing Tool, which features a drive mount, drive spools, spool stabilizers, and a drive cap. Additionally, it contains the Cam Bore Extender Fixture and the necessary hardware for attaching the installation fixture to the LS block. The Bore Extender Fixture utilizes a tab and slot design, enabling simple, fast, and rigid assembly for a straightforward installation experience, even for those performing this task for the first time.
