Cam Gears for Honda J Series

The P2R Adjustable Cam Gears are the only adjustable cam gears specifically available for Honda & Acura J Series engines. These gears are constructed with robust materials for enhanced durability and performance. The outer rings are crafted from 7075 billet aluminum, the strongest grade of aluminum, and finished with a hard anodization for superior wear resistance and a premium look. The center hubs are made from 1045 steel and feature a black oxide coating to resist corrosion and maintain strength. For precise tuning, the gears are equipped with laser-etched timing marks, allowing for quick and accurate camshaft timing adjustments. These cam gears are compatible with both OEM ECUs and popular standalone engine management systems, such as Haltech, making them suitable for a wide spectrum of vehicle builds, from mild street applications to full-blown race cars. With over two years of real-world testing, these cam gears have demonstrated their ability to perform reliably under demanding conditions. P2R recommends using Red Loctite for the hardware during installation.
