The Dorman 907-719 is a magnetic camshaft position sensor. This sensor reads the camshaft position and relays the information to the vehicle's ECM. This data is crucial for functions such as initiating injection on sequential injection engines, providing the trigger signal for the magnet valve on pump valve injection systems, and for cylinder-specific knock control.
