Camaro SS Fiberglass Hood

The Trufiber Camaro SS hood is a performance upgrade designed specifically for 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro models. This hood enhances the vehicle's aesthetics with its aggressive SS style and offers functional benefits by providing additional cooling to the engine bay. Constructed from hand-laid fiberglass, the hood features a smooth gel coat finish on both top and bottom surfaces, arriving unpainted. For added safety and durability, it includes a reinforced metal latch and hinge plate, a feature that distinguishes it from other fiberglass hoods that may crack or break at the latching point. An integrated stainless mesh grille is included, which can be cut off to accommodate the OEM grille. The hood is pre-drilled with a prop hole and is designed for direct bolt-on installation using the factory hardware, with an approximate weight of 35 pounds. Important installation and warranty notes apply. All hoods must be inspected for freight damage before accepting delivery; any damage found requires the shipment to be refused. Dry-fitting the hood on the vehicle is mandatory before any paint or bodywork is performed, as painted or modified hoods cannot be returned under warranty.
