Description

The Camburg Heim Steering Kit is a performance-grade steering tie rod end replacement designed for the 1998-2012 Ford Ranger 2WD/4WD. This kit addresses the known issue of weak inner ball-joint and tie-rod failure under off-road conditions. It provides improved strength and durability.

The steering clevis is CNC machined from heat-treated 17-4 H1150 stainless steel, paired with a custom bolt for the factory steering rack and a FK 3/4" JMX series heim with stainless spacers. The tie rod, connecting the heim to the outer tie-rod, is also machined from 17-4 H1150 stainless steel for maximum strength. This upgrade is considered mandatory for off-road use and is a direct bolt-on solution. It fits both coil spring and torsion bar trucks.
