Overview

It is engineered to work with LS6 valve springs and a factory torque converter, offering great driveability with an aggressive idle characteristic. The cam features a 214/222 duration and .550/.550 lift with a 108 LSA and 106 ICL.

With specifications of 214/222 duration and .550/.550 lift on a 108 LSA, this cam is engineered to work with GM LS6 Beehive Valve Springs and a factory torque converter, making it factory converter friendly. It is not recommended to use an aftermarket stall converter with this camshaft. This camshaft is best suited for 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines equipped with cathedral port heads. It requires a desired compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher. The operating RPM range for this cam is 1200-6500 RPM. Under testing, this camshaft achieved a power increase of 67 horsepower and 26 ft-lbs of torque at the crank, while maintaining great drivability. Fitment includes 1999–2013 GM LS-based trucks and SUVs such as Silverado and Sierra models.
