The Tomei Procam Camshaft Set 262 is a high-performance camshaft designed for enthusiasts seeking to maximize power output in their vehicles. With a duration of 262 degrees and a lift of 9.15mm for both intake and exhaust, these camshafts are optimized for high-RPM operation and improved engine breathing. This camshaft set is engineered with a specific VALC profile to maximize lobe travel on the valve lifter without exceeding its outer edge. This design reduces the maximum cam velocity, which in turn minimizes stress and wear on the valve train components, promoting a longer service life even under demanding conditions. It is important to note that this camshaft kit is intended for off-road use only and may not be street-legal. Additionally, several components are required for proper installation and operation and are not included. These include specific valve springs (TA304A-NS05A), valve lifters (TA307A-NS05B), valve shims (part numbers starting in TA307F-NS***), intake cam gears (TA302B-NS05A), and exhaust cam gears (TA302C-NS05A). This Tomei Procam Camshaft Set is specifically designed for the 1998-2002 Nissan GT-R RB26DETT engine.
