Description

The Texas Speed & Performance TSP-Turbo2-3B Stage 2 Turbo Cam is specifically engineered for 4.8L and 5.3L engines, particularly those utilizing single or twin-turbo setups. With a duration of 214/220 and a valve lift of 0.600 int./0.600 exh. (using factory rocker arms), and a lobe separation of 112+2 degrees, this cam offers a noticeable increase in performance. It is intended for street/strip use and operates effectively within a 1400-6300 RPM range. The cam is estimated to provide a power increase of 45-50+ horsepower. For optimal reliability and safety in turbo applications, TSP recommends using their .660 dual valve springs and chromoly hardened pushrods. It does not require an aftermarket stall converter or upgraded rear gears. The recommended compression ratio for this camshaft is 9.5:1 or higher. Valve springs, such as PAC 1219 or TSP/PAC Dual .660 Valve springs, are required for installation.
