Overview

The BBR Motorsports 411-HXR-5102 is a high-performance camshaft designed to boost mid and top-end power. Manufactured to the highest quality standards, it requires no core return. This camshaft is intended for use with stock heads.

It also fits the 1992-1999 Z50R models equipped with a bearing-mounted camshaft. For other combinations, manual valve-to-piston clearance checks are recommended.

The BBR Motorsports High Performance Camshaft (411-HXR-5102) is engineered to significantly enhance the mid and top-end power output of your XR/CRF50 engine. Manufactured with the highest quality standards, this camshaft offers a direct upgrade without requiring a core return, making installation straightforward. This camshaft is designed specifically for use with stock heads and is compatible with the OEM Honda piston or the BBR big bore kit piston when using OEM-sized valves. For any other piston or valve combination, it is crucial to manually check valve-to-piston clearance. This typically involves assembling the motor with clay on the piston dome, rotating the motor by hand, and then measuring the clay thickness to ensure at least .050" of clearance for these smaller air-cooled engines. Consulting a qualified performance engine builder is recommended if you are unsure about this process. The BBR 411-HXR-5102 camshaft offers a direct fit for Honda CRF50 models from 2004 to the present, Honda XR50 models from 2000 to 2003, and Honda Z50R models from 1992 to 1999, provided they have a bearing-mounted camshaft.
