Tomei has meticulously designed every profile to deliver peak performance between 4,000 and 10,000 RPM. Utilizing the finest raw materials and advanced CNC grinding technology, Tomei ensures exceptional quality and micron-level accuracy in each Procam camshaft. These high-spec profiles are specifically for professional tuners and high-power builds, requiring high-performance valve springs for installation. The Procam optimizes valve 'velocity' and 'acceleration,' providing higher lift compared to other camshafts with similar durations. While traditional tuning focuses on duration and lift for peak power, Tomei's Procam also maximizes intake efficiency, balancing high lift for air intake with reduced mechanical damage and friction loss, offering a well-balanced profile that is 1.3-1.5 times that of stock camshafts. Each camshaft undergoes rigorous production processes and strict inspection to meet Tomei's high standards. To protect against damage, especially before initial lubrication, the surface is coated with manganese phosphate using a press process. This coating, ranging from 0.5mm to 15 micrometers thick, prevents direct metal-to-metal contact and ensures smooth operation. Fitment: This camshaft is specifically designed for the 2006-2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 with the 4G63 engine.
