When paired with upgraded valve springs, these cams modify lobe, duration, and lift to enhance midrange and high RPM power and torque. ZZP offers specific profiles for supercharged and turbocharged applications.

ZZP provides specialized profiles tailored for both supercharged and turbocharged setups. The Stage 2 Supercharged variant, selected here, is designed to raise your engine's powerband by approximately 700-1000 RPM, enabling peak power delivery between 7500-7800 RPM. To manage the increased engine vibrations at these higher RPMs, an ATI balancer is required. It is also strongly recommended to replace your stock valve springs and retainers with the ZZP 82# valve springs and retainers, and to consider removing or replacing your balance shafts with ZZP's neutral balance shafts or balance shaft delete kit. Additionally, the stock camshaft bolts are torque-to-yield and must be replaced with upgraded, non-TTY bolts. ZZP's camshafts are precisely cut with the correct keyway location, eliminating the need for adjustable cam gears. This ensures proper cam timing without complications, unlike some offerings from other manufacturers which may not be correctly timed for the LSJ engine.
