The Schrick camshaft kit provides a significant performance upgrade for V6 24-valve, 3.2L engines. This kit includes an inlet camshaft with 268 degrees of duration and an outlet camshaft with 264 degrees of duration, carefully engineered to enhance engine breathing and power output. According to BAR-TEK, these camshafts are suitable for professional tuning. The manufacturer notes that engine remapping is necessary after installation to take full advantage of the performance gains. For vehicles equipped with a DSG transmission, further remapping of the transmission control unit will also be required. These Schrick camshafts are compatible with a range of Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with the 3.2 VR6 (EA390) engine, including the Volkswagen Eos (2006-2015), Golf IV (1997-2003), Golf V (2003-2008), and the Audi TT/TTS/TT RS (8J, 2006-2014, and 8N, 1998-2006). The specific engine codes covered include BUB, CBRA, BFH, BML, BDB, BMJ, and BHE.
