The Kelford Cams 8-TX264 camshaft set is designed for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines. This performance camshaft features 264-degree intake duration and 260-degree exhaust duration with 11.00mm intake lift and 10.35mm exhaust lift.

These cams are engineered for street, strip, and drag applications, suitable for engines producing 300-500 HP. They are rated for up to 35 psi of boost and 8000 RPM when used with Kelford recommended valve springs.

The Kelford Cams 8-TX264 is a high-performance camshaft set specifically engineered for the Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC Evolution 8 engine. Renowned for superior results, these camshafts are ground on a Toyoda CNC masterless cam grinder, ensuring consistent quality. This 'TX' range camshaft features optimized lobe designs with low seat timing and maximum valve area for precise valve control at high RPMs. The 8-TX264 profile offers 264 degrees of advertised intake duration and 260 degrees of exhaust duration, with a nett valve lift of 11.00mm on the intake side and 10.35mm on the exhaust side. The cam lift is 6.36mm for intake and 5.98mm for exhaust, with a rocker ratio of 1.73 for both. Designed for street, strip, and drag racing, the 8-TX264 camshaft is recommended for engines producing 300-500 horsepower. It is stable up to 35 psi of boost and 8000 RPM when paired with Kelford recommended valve springs. The product includes two camshafts, cam lube, and a cam spec sheet. While primarily designed for the Evo 8 (2003-2005 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII), these camshafts can be used with Evo 4-7 models, but require modification or swapping of the cam angle sensor trigger. The exhaust cam trigger cylinder differs between Evo 8 (M12 bolt) and Evo 4-7 (M8 bolt), with necessary parts available separately. Kelford offers specific cams for Evo 4-7, though these may involve a 2-4 month wait.
