The VALC profile camshafts from Tomei are designed to maximize power and torque efficiency while maintaining quiet operation. They feature a unique VALC profile that allows valves to open faster and for longer durations, increasing the area under the 'lift curve' for greater air intake and more power. The profile also ensures valves close at a slower rate to prevent valve train issues. These camshafts reduce maximum cam velocity to limit lobe travel on the lifter surface, preventing damage commonly seen with high-lift camshafts and maximizing lift on the lifter surface.
