This camshaft sub-assembly is compatible with a range of Toyota vehicles, including the 1995-1999 Avalon (XL, XLS models with 6 Cyl 3.0L engines), the 1993-2004 Camry (various trims and engines including 4 Cyl 2.2L, 4 Cyl 2.4L, 6 Cyl 3.0L, and 6 Cyl 3.3L), the 1998-2001 Sienna (CE, LE models with 6 Cyl 3.0L engines), and the 1999-2003 Solara (various trims and engines including 4 Cyl 2.2L, 4 Cyl 2.4L, and 6 Cyl 3.0L). Installation of this camshaft may require specific procedures, such as aligning timing marks on the camshaft gears for each cylinder head. For the right (rear) cylinder head, align the two dots on the intake camshaft gear with those on the exhaust camshaft gear. For the left (front) cylinder head, align the one dot on the intake camshaft gear with the one dot on the exhaust camshaft gear. When removing the camshafts, initial components like the valve cover and distributor must be removed first. For lubrication, camshaft installation lubricant should be applied to the exhaust camshaft lobes, bearing journals, and gear thrust faces.
