CAN Bridge Module

The Hondata CAN Bridge is a crucial module for owners of the 2025 and newer Honda Civic Si looking to tune their vehicle. This device specifically addresses the ECU lock implemented by Honda on these models, which prevents direct ECU flashing required for performance tuning. Utilizing a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus system, the 2025+ USDM Civic Si has enhanced communication between its ECU and critical systems like the engine, transmission, and brakes. However, this system also introduces a barrier for ECU unlocking. The Hondata CAN Bridge effectively bypasses this restriction, allowing seamless integration with the Hondata FlashPro tuning device. This enables users to upload a wide range of Hondata's pre-made tunes as well as custom third-party calibrations. Once installed, the module remains in place and does not need to be removed for subsequent tuning sessions. The module is specifically required for 2025+ model year Civic Si vehicles. It is important to note that other Honda and Acura models do not require this particular CAN Bridge module at this time.
