The Ansix Auto CANbus adapter is engineered to overcome the data acquisition limitations of the factory OBD2 port found in 2022 and later Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 models. These vehicles' standard OBD2 ports do not provide access to the CAN bus, which is essential for comprehensive telemetry data. This adapter directly interfaces with the vehicle's CAN network, rerouting it to provide a dedicated OBD2 port conveniently located inside the glovebox. By tapping into the CAN bus, this adapter enables significantly faster refresh rates and access to critical real-time vehicle data. This includes vital inputs such as engine RPM, vehicle speed, steering angle, brake pressure, throttle position, and coolant temperature. This direct access to CAN data is crucial for high-resolution logging and detailed track analysis, allowing drivers to gain more accurate insights for optimizing performance and vehicle setup.
