CAN Controlled Charger

The Thunderstruck PFC-II 2500, model TS-CHRG-312, is a flexible CAN-controlled charger designed for electric vehicle battery systems. It offers user-adjustable settings through an EVCC (EV charge controller) or similar devices, such as the Dilithium MCU. This programmability means the charger can be reconfigured if your battery pack setup changes, saving the cost of a new unit or professional reprogramming. The charger features a wide input voltage range of 110 to 240 VAC and a 50-60 Hz frequency. Its output current ranges from 1A to 15A DC, with a voltage range of 200-420 volts. The unit is built with an internally protected input and housed in a waterproof enclosure rated to IP66 standards. Thermal management is handled by a thermostat-controlled, variable-speed fan. Software compatibility includes Windows XP, 7, Vista, and Mac OS 10.7+. The preset cutoff voltage is determined via CAN Bus. This product is the charger unit only; an EVCC or BMS MCU must be purchased separately to configure the charger correctly. It comes with a one-year warranty.
