CAN Lambda Module with Bosch LSU 4.9 Sensor

The Link ECU CAN Lambda Module is an essential tool for precise fuel mixture tuning, enabling real-time adjustments for optimal engine performance. This digital wideband controller integrates a Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor to measure exhaust gas oxygen proportions, feeding data through a CAN bus for rapid and accurate transfer. Unlike analog systems, its fully digital nature prevents signal degradation, delays, and errors, and it never requires free-air calibration. The module features a lambda measurement range of 0.67 to 10.0 lambda and supports multiple CAN communication speeds (1Mb/s, 500kb/s, 250kb/s, 125kb/s). It operates within a wide temperature range of -20°C to 100°C and requires input voltages of 7.5-20V for the controller and 10.8-16.5V for the sensor. The sensor heater draws up to 8A, while the controller consumes 100 mA. The unit includes a 4-pin DTM connector for power and CAN, and a 6-pin connector for the LSU 4.9 sensor, with a lead length of 170mm. For users employing Link's G4+/G4X PlugIn ECUs, the CAN Lambda module can be integrated by using a Link CANPCB cable to access the PlugIn's CAN port and a Link CANF field insertable CAN plug. Please note that the included Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor is intended for aftermarket use only, and as Bosch's warranty excludes such applications, no warranty is provided on the sensor itself.
