The Rockford Fosgate PMX-CAN is a specialized interface module that bridges the gap between your PMX-8BB marine source unit and a compatible Multi-Function Display (MFD) system. Designed to work with the NMEA2K entertainment standard, this module ensures smooth communication and control. This plug-and-play module translates commands from your MFD, allowing you to remotely manage basic and advanced functions of the PMX-8BB. You can control power, volume, source selection, and even specific functions for radio, Bluetooth, Pandora, SiriusXM, and USB inputs directly from your MFD, eliminating the need to access the source unit itself. Key controllable functions include Power On/Off, Input Source Selection, Play/Pause, Track/Tune/Seek Up/Down, Master/Subwoofer/Zone Volume Control, and Zone Source Selection/Renaming Capability. Advanced adjustments like Balance/Fade, EQ Preset Adjust, and Filter Freq. Adjustment are also supported. The PMX-CAN is built to Rockford Fosgate's Element Ready™ standard, meaning it is protected against harsh marine environments, including dust, UV rays, temperature extremes, water, corrosion, and vibration. It features a compact chassis measuring 1.7" H x 4.4" W x 3.5" D (44mm x 111.4mm x 89mm).
