CANFlex Flex Fuel Conversion Kit

The Hondata CANFlex is a flex fuel solution designed to unleash the full potential of FL5 Civic Type R and DE5 Integra-S models. This system allows you to run pump gas, E85 fuel, or a mix of both, offering flexibility and optimized fuel combustion for increased horsepower and torque. It is a 49-state SEMA certified product for turbo 2.0 liter Honda and Acura vehicles, with calibrations designed for stock configurations including intake and exhaust. The CANFlex system enables earlier turbo spool (200-400rpm sooner with E85) and provides a safe, flat torque curve for a more controllable and enjoyable driving experience. It can deliver an additional 16-36 hp over stock, or substantially more (68-71 hp) when paired with a Hondata fuel system. The system also functions as an in-cylinder intercooler, aiding in charge cooling and power output. Conservative tunes for daily drivers yield up to 400 lb/ft of torque and 400 hp. Installation involves a fuel line adapter with an integrated ethanol sensor, an E/B/CAN converter box, and adapter cables. The system requires FlashPro Manager software version 4.3.3 beta or later. To achieve higher power levels, a Hondata fuel system is necessary. Additionally, all Civic Type R and Integra-S ECUs require jailbreaking by Hondata or an authorized dealer before the CANFlex calibration can be installed.
