CANFlex Flex Fuel Module

The Hondata CANFlex system is an advanced flex-fuel solution engineered for the 11th Gen 2.0L turbo Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and Acura Integra Type S (DE5). This 49-state SEMA certified kit enables seamless use of E85 fuel, unlocking significant performance potential. When used with E85, the CANFlex system can provide substantial power gains, typically ranging from 16-36 hp on its own. When paired with a Hondata fuel system, these gains can increase to 68-71 hp. The system also allows for the use of 100-105 octane fuel, acts as an in-cylinder intercooler for improved charge cooling, and can result in earlier turbo spool (200-400rpm sooner with E85). While offering performance benefits, a slight reduction in fuel economy may occur. Installation requires the vehicle's ECU to be jailbroken, which must be performed by Hondata or an authorized dealer for FL5 and DE5 models. The CANFlex calibrations are conservatively tuned for daily driving but can be further optimized by an experienced tuner for built engines. FlashPro Manager software version 4.3.3 beta or later is required. This product is 49-state legal and passes all smog tests, but it is not for sale or use in California.
