The Hondata CANFlex is a flex fuel solution designed for the FK8 Honda Civic Type R. It integrates with the factory ECU and Hondata FlashPro Manager software. This kit enables the use of E85, pump gas, or any ethanol blend.

The Hondata CANFlex Flex Fuel Kit is an advanced flex-fuel solution engineered for the FK8 Honda Civic Type R. It integrates seamlessly with the factory ECU and requires FlashPro Manager software version 4.3.3 beta or later. This system allows your turbocharged 2.0-liter K20C1 engine to safely and efficiently run on E85, pump gas, or any ethanol blend in between, automatically adapting for optimal power output. This kit delivers significant performance enhancements, including up to +28 horsepower on a stock setup, and up to +71 horsepower when paired with a Hondata Fuel System. It can also improve turbo spool by 200-400 RPM with E85 and enhances throttle response and midrange torque. The E85 fuel provides an equivalent octane rating of 100-105, acting as an in-cylinder intercooler to reduce knock and allow for higher boost and ignition advance. Included in the kit are a fuel line adapter with an integrated ethanol content sensor, an E/B/CAN converter box, an E/B/CAN Hondata OBD2 adapter cable, and an OBD II adapter. The system is 49-state SEMA certified and emissions compliant, ensuring it passes all smog tests. For even greater potential, the CANFlex system can be paired with a Hondata Fuel System, allowing calibrations to safely produce up to 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque on E85. This kit is specifically designed for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8).
