Overview

The Hondata CANFlex is a flex fuel solution for 2.0L turbo Honda and Acura vehicles. It is SEMA certified for 49 states and allows for running flex fuel (E85). The CANFlex provides more power than any bolt-on and allows you to fill your car with pump gas or flex fuel anywhere, anytime.

The CANFlex calibrations offer a safe, flat torque curve for daily drivers, improving control and drivability. It spools the turbo earlier and maintains boost in the upper rev range. The system includes a fuel line adapter with an integrated ethanol sensor, an E/B/CAN converter box, and necessary adapter cables.

The Hondata CANFlex is the ultimate flex fuel solution for unleashing the full potential of your 2.0L turbo Honda and Acura vehicles, specifically the FK8 Civic Type R. This SEMA-certified system for 49 states allows you to run flex fuel (E85), optimizing fuel combustion for significant gains in horsepower and torque. It delivers more power than traditional bolt-ons and offers the flexibility to use pump gas or E85 seamlessly. Included in the package are a fuel line adapter with an integrated ethanol sensor, an E/B/CAN converter box, and appropriate OBD2 and OBD II adapter cables, along with installation instructions. It also ensures the turbo spools earlier and maintains boost effectively throughout the rev range, improving throttle response and overall performance. The system is compatible with stock intake and exhaust systems. For enhanced performance, upgrading with a Hondata fuel system is recommended. This upgrade allows for more boost and higher power levels. With the Hondata Fuel system, the CANFlex calibrations are conservatively tuned for daily drivers, targeting 400 hp and 400 lb/ft of torque. The CANFlex calibrations can add approximately 70 HP and spool the turbo 200-400 RPM earlier when using E85. Your Civic FK8 Type R requires jailbreaking before the CANFlex calibration can be installed. The software requirement is FlashPro Manager 4.3.3 beta or later.
