CAP V3 3.0T Cold Air Intake

The Can Auto Performance CAP V3 Intake is a high-performance cold air intake system engineered for 2010-2017 Audi B8/B8.5 S4, S5, Q5, and SQ5 vehicles equipped with the 3.0T Supercharged V6 engine. Constructed from aerospace-grade titanium, this intake naturally dissipates heat faster than traditional materials, helping to keep intake air temperatures lower for sustained performance. The V3 features a molded heat shield with an integrated air channel that directs fresh air directly to the large 7-inch high-flow filter, which offers a 53% increase in filter surface area. It also includes weather stripping on the heat shield for superior sealing against engine bay heat and a heat shield integrated bracket system with a billet SAI filter bracket for a secure, plug-and-play installation without the need for zip ties. This intake is designed for a true plug-and-play experience on stock B8/B8.5 vehicles, staying within factory MAF limits with no tune required and no Check Engine Lights (CELs). It also supports tuned, dual-pulley, and methanol setups without airflow restrictions. For those seeking maximum performance, pairing the V3 with supporting upgrades such as an upgraded throttle body (that retains the OEM throttle body location), a ported supercharger, and a port-matched inlet is recommended. Users will need to supply a 3.5” to 4” coupler for upgraded throttle bodies. Modifications are required for Q5 & SQ5 installation, as shown in the manufacturer's installation video.
