The Capristo CES3 Programmable Exhaust Remote Kit is designed to integrate with Capristo exhaust valves, enabling precise control over your exhaust system's performance. This kit allows you to manage exhaust back pressure, which is crucial for optimizing engine torque across various conditions. High-performance engines benefit from a free-flowing exhaust at high RPMs, while maintaining slight back pressure at lower RPMs can enhance low-end torque and driveability in traffic. This control unit constantly monitors exhaust back pressure and automatically opens the exhaust butterflies at a user-defined pressure threshold, thereby increasing exhaust flow and horsepower. This kit offers three distinct control modes to suit your driving needs: Cruise mode opens the valves later and at higher exhaust pressure levels for a quieter, more comfortable drive. Sport mode allows for quicker valve opening for a more aggressive driving style. Track mode keeps the valves in the open position for maximum exhaust flow during high-RPM, full-throttle application. The opening and closing points for the Cruise and Sport modes are user-programmable within specific safety limits. The kit includes a stylish key fob with two extra buttons capable of controlling other 444Mhz devices. An onboard self-learning function allows for programming additional key fobs, and a fail-safe mechanism ensures the exhaust valves open in case of electrical or vacuum failure, preventing potential engine or header damage from excessive heat. Installation is simplified with a pre-wired harness; only the power and ground wires require connection specific to your application. Please note that only one key fob is supplied; additional fobs must be purchased separately.
