The LA Sleeve Cylinder Sleeve (YA5627) is a direct replacement component engineered to re-sleeve worn or seized cylinders, providing an economical solution for engine rebuilding. Manufactured by LA Sleeve Co., this sleeve is constructed from a durable carbon-chrome-molybdenum alloy, ensuring longevity and performance. It features a 200 Brinell hardness, which guarantees ease of installation and trouble-free boring to the required piston size after installation. This cylinder sleeve has a standard bore size of 95.00mm and is designed for liquid-cooled engines. The original cylinder material for which this sleeve is intended is plated aluminum, and it is specified for Cylinder No. 2S2. The outside diameter is precision centerless ground to exact dimensions, facilitating a smooth installation process. After installation, the inside diameter must be bored and honed to match the specific piston being used. LA Sleeve also offers an optional service where customers can send their cylinder to LA Sleeve Co. for complete sleeve installation, though this incurs an additional fee.
