The Tekarbon carbon fiber air intake covers provide a lightweight, high-strength upgrade for the 2005-2006 Honda CBR600RR. These covers are crafted using an advanced autoclave manufacturing process to ensure structural integrity while maintaining a minimal weight profile. These components are intended as a direct replacement for factory parts, though it is important to note that hardware and mounting brackets are not included in this purchase. Installation of these carbon fiber fairings requires an intermediate skill level. Because carbon fiber material properties differ from the original ABS plastic, minor modifications such as filing, drilling holes, or the use of washers may be necessary to ensure a perfect fit. Use only hand tools when securing the bolts to prevent damage to the carbon fiber finish. Essential tools for a successful installation may include an Allen wrench set, a Dremel kit with a silicon carbide grinding stone bit, and 240-grit sanding bands, alongside appropriate safety gear.
