The Armaspeed ARMAGOLF7G-A is a premium carbon fiber cold air intake system engineered for the Volkswagen Golf 7/7.5 GTI and R models equipped with the MQB EA888 engine. This is achieved through a full carbon fiber air box, inlet pipe, and a high-flow air filter. Constructed using a unique vacuum process, the intake boasts a smooth surface with a clear double carbon fiber pattern inside and out. The air box is tailor-made to maximize the use of engine compartment space, and the unique airflow guide design minimizes turbulence. This direct bolt-on design ensures a straightforward installation with no modification to OEM parts required. The system also includes a patented German variable air filter system which can be controlled via a remote, allowing the user to manage the valve at different RPMs for optimal torque and fuel consumption. The intake is compatible with model years 2013-2021 for applicable VW Golf GTI, VW Golf R, Seat Leon Cupra, Passat 380, and Skoda Octavia 5E 2.0 models. Crucially, no remapping of the ECU/DME is needed after installation. The reusable stainless steel air filter is easy to clean. Each application is dyno-tested, with this specific system showing proven power gains of 5%-15% (approximately +12.7hp / 7Nm peak output).
