Show original supplier description
The Password:JDM Carbon Fiber CTR Base is crafted from dry carbon fiber, offering a lightweight replacement for the OEM CTR Base on the 1996-2000 Honda Civic Hatchback (EK). Constructed from natural dry carbon fiber, this base is significantly lighter than its original equipment counterpart, effectively cutting the weight by almost half. It's important to note that the dry carbon finish does not include a UV-protectant clear-coat. To maintain its appearance and prevent water spots or white marks, the manufacturer recommends applying a coat of spray-on wax or ceramic coating instead of a clear coat. All Tecnocraft Composites and Password:JDM Dry Carbon/Kevlar products are handcrafted. Minor imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and resin blemishes are to be expected and are considered standard within the race industry, not affecting performance. Additional shipping charges may apply for customers in Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. These charges will be communicated by a sales representative after the order is placed. The item typically ships within 3-5 business days from the purchase date.
