The Password:JDM Carbon Fiber CTR Base is crafted from dry carbon fiber, offering a lightweight replacement for the OEM CTR Base on the 1996-2000 Honda Civic Hatchback (EK). Constructed from natural dry carbon fiber, this base is significantly lighter than its original equipment counterpart, effectively cutting the weight by almost half. It's important to note that the dry carbon finish does not include a UV-protectant clear-coat. To maintain its appearance and prevent water spots or white marks, the manufacturer recommends applying a coat of spray-on wax or ceramic coating instead of a clear coat. Minor imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and resin blemishes are to be expected and are considered standard within the race industry, not affecting performance.
