The VIS Racing VRS Style Double Sided Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered for the Toyota Supra GR (2020-2026) and is crafted using the advanced Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This technique sandwiches a lightweight core between two layers of premium carbon fiber, resulting in a hood that is both incredibly strong and aerodynamically optimized. The uniform resin distribution ensures a robust yet lightweight component, perfect for enhancing vehicle performance. It features a UV-protective coating to resist weathering and maintain its gloss. For installation and safety, the manufacturer strongly recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately. It is crucial not to reuse the stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these may compromise the hood's structure and lead to cracking. Professional installation is also recommended. These products are primarily intended for off-road use; users should verify local and state laws for on-road compliance. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity.
