The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hatch offers an OEM-style replacement for the 1988-1991 Honda Civic Hatchback. Manufactured from Grade-A carbon fiber, this component features a two-part construction design. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a durable, high-gloss finish. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer to improve structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable. This process is being transitioned across their carbon fiber product line. Each VIS Carbon Fiber Hatch comes with a badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of the product and its intended uses, hood pins are required for installation. Furthermore, these products are intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws specify otherwise. The fitment is specifically for the 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback models.
