The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Heat Extractor Hood TNR Style is an aggressive and functional upgrade for Toyota Tundra models from 2014 to 2021. Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for a lighter yet more durable component, with parts typically 10-20% lighter than traditional methods. This hood features a two-part construction. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective Poly Shield for a lasting high gloss. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing structural integrity. The edges are meticulously hand-finished to ensure a premium appearance. Installation requires hood pins, and it is crucial not to reuse stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as this may cause the hood to crack. This product is intended for off-road use; users should check local laws regarding use on public roads. Additionally, this product is subject to California Proposition 65 warnings regarding cancer and reproductive harm.
