Manufactured from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood utilizes a sophisticated two-part construction design. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high-gloss finish. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances structural integrity. VIS Racing has further refined their process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable. This hood is custom-made for your specific vehicle, ensuring a precise fit. However, the manufacturer recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately. Professional installation is also advised to ensure proper fitment and performance. It's important to note that these products are generally intended for off-road use, and users should comply with local and state laws regarding street legality.
