The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood offers a blend of weight savings and aggressive aesthetics for the 2009-2020 Nissan 370Z 2-door models. Crafted from Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a two-part construction process bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. VIS Racing employs the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce this hood, resulting in a part that is 10-20% lighter than conventional methods while enhancing overall durability. The hood features a one-piece, smooth underside shell for improved structural integrity, and its edges are meticulously hand-finished for a quality look. Hood pins are required for installation to ensure safety and stability.
