It is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber with a two-part design and high-grade epoxy resin. The hood features an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating and is 10-20% lighter than stock due to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.).

The VIS Racing OEM Style Carbon Fiber Hood is designed to enhance the performance and aesthetics of your 2007-2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Crafted using 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood offers a significant weight reduction of 10-20% thanks to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) manufacturing technique, contributing to improved handling. The construction features a two-part design with high-grade epoxy resin, finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. The underside features a smooth shell that enhances structural integrity, with meticulously hand-finished edges for a premium look. Installation of this hood is recommended to be performed professionally. It is also important to note that hood pins are required for safety and performance and are sold separately. This hood is custom-made to fit the specified Toyota FJ Cruiser models from 2007 to 2012, offering a direct replacement for the factory hood.
