The VIS Racing OEM Style Carbon Fiber Hood offers a custom fit and a racing-inspired aesthetic for your vehicle. Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a vacuum-infused, single-mold process for optimal strength and durability. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high-gloss appearance. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances structural integrity, while the hand-smoothed edges ensure a quality finish all around. VIS Racing is transitioning to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for many of their carbon parts, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter while maintaining or improving durability, all without a significant cost increase. This hood is designed specifically for the 2006-2008 Audi A3 4-door models. It includes a VIS badge of authenticity. Please note that hood pins are required for installation and are sold separately. Professional installation is recommended. Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped via an LTL Freight Service, and customers should inspect the package for damage before signing upon delivery.
