The VIS Racing OEM Style Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered to upgrade the aesthetics and performance of your BMW 3 Series E92 2-door models from 2011-2013. It is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, bonded with a high-grade epoxy resin for a durable top layer. This is finished with an ultra-clear, Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating, providing a high-gloss finish. The hood utilizes a two-part construction design, featuring a one-piece, smooth underside shell that is fused to the top layer, enhancing structural integrity. The edges are meticulously hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has also introduced the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which results in parts that are 10-20% lighter while improving durability, a process that is being transitioned across their carbon parts lineup. This carbon fiber hood is specifically compatible with the BMW 323i, 325i, 328i, 328i xDrive, 335d, 335i, 335i xDrive (all 2011), and the 335is (2011-2012) models. It is important to note that this hood excludes the M3 model. Hood pins are required for secure installation due to the nature of the product, and it is intended for off-road use unless local laws permit otherwise.
