It utilizes a two-part construction design with a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating. The underside features a one-piece shell for enhanced structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing is transitioning to a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for lighter and more durable parts.

The VIS Racing DTM Style Carbon Fiber Hood is a custom-made body panel designed to enhance the aesthetics of your Audi A4. It provides a commanding presence on the road and is crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material. The construction involves a two-part design: a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin, finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high-gloss look. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer, reinforcing the product's structural integrity. The edges are meticulously hand-smoothed for a quality finish all around. VIS Racing employs advanced manufacturing techniques, including the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which produces parts that are 10-20% lighter while improving durability. This process is being transitioned across their carbon fiber product line. This hood is specifically designed for the 2017-2024 Audi A4 4-door models. The manufacturer recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately. Professional installation is also recommended. Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped via LTL Freight Service, with an estimated 5-7 business days for pickup scheduling.
