The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood offers an OEM-style upgrade for the 2020-2023 Tesla Model Y, designed to enhance both visual appeal and vehicle performance. This hood is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, utilizing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) which results in parts that are 10-20% lighter while maintaining exceptional durability. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, providing a distinct high gloss finish. Its one-piece, smooth underside shell contributes to overall structural integrity, making it suitable for both daily driving and track use. Each hood includes a badge of authenticity. Important considerations for installation include the mandatory use of hood pins. It is crucial to avoid reusing stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs to prevent potential damage. This product is generally intended for off-road use unless local regulations state otherwise. This carbon fiber hood is specifically designed to fit Tesla Model Y vehicles from the 2020 to 2023 model years. Note that this hood does not fit the Juniper model.
