The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Hood offers an aggressive yet OEM-style upgrade for your Mazda RX-7 2DR (1986-1991). Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood is built for durability and a lightweight performance edge. Its construction involves a two-part design: a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin, finished with an ultra-clear Poly Shield for UV protection and a high-gloss sheen. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances structural integrity, with hand-smoothed edges for a quality finish. VIS Racing utilizes an advanced Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for parts manufactured since 2014, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods, without a significant cost increase. Each hood comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of these performance hoods, hood pins are required for safety, and these products are intended for off-road use unless local laws state otherwise. Fitment is specific to the 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7 2DR models. Before ordering, it is highly recommended to confirm fitment with our sales team to reduce the risk of ordering the wrong product.
