Overview

It is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material using a vacuum-infused, single-mold process.

This hood features a two-part construction with a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss. The underside is a smooth, one-piece shell for structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish.

Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a vacuum-infused, single-mold process for optimal material integrity and weight reduction. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a durable, high-gloss finish. Its one-piece, smooth underside shell enhances structural integrity, while hand-smoothed edges contribute to a refined appearance. It features a two-part construction where the carbon fiber top layer is seamlessly fused to the underside shell. VIS Racing is transitioning its carbon parts to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce lighter and more durable components without a significant cost increase. Professional installation is recommended for this hood. Additionally, the manufacturer recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately. Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped via an LTL Freight Service, with tracking provided once a pickup is scheduled. It is crucial to inspect the package for any damage prior to signing for delivery, as claims cannot be processed if damage is found after acceptance.
