The VIS Racing XTREME GT Style Carbon Fiber Hood is meticulously crafted to provide a distinctive, race-inspired look for your Honda Accord. Made from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a two-part construction design. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a superior high gloss. The underside is a one-piece shell, fused to the top layer for enhanced structural integrity, and all edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has further refined their manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which produces parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. This hood is designed specifically for the 1990-1993 Honda Accord, fitting both 2-door and 4-door body styles. Installation of this hood is recommended to be done by a professional. The manufacturer also strongly recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately, due to the intended performance and off-road applications. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods come with a badge of authenticity. Please note that this product is intended for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws.
