The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood is an OEM-style replacement panel designed for 1994-1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT 2DR models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber using a high-grade epoxy resin and a UV-protective polyurethane coating.

The hood features a two-part construction with a smooth one-piece underside shell for structural integrity. Because of the nature of the product, the installation requires the use of hood pins.

The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood is an OEM-style replacement panel designed for 1994-1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT 2DR models. This hood is manufactured using a two-part design, featuring a Grade-A carbon fiber top layer bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high-gloss appearance. Advanced manufacturing techniques are utilized to produce these parts, including the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This process uses a single-mold vacuum to create hoods that are 10-20% lighter than traditional methods while simultaneously improving overall durability and structural integrity. A smooth, one-piece underside shell is fused to the top layer, and edges are hand-finished to ensure quality. Installation requires specific considerations, as hood pins are required for safe operation due to the nature of the product.
