Description

The Porsche OEM carbon fiber hood is designed as an OEM-style replacement for the Porsche 997 models from 2005 to 2011. Crafted from Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a robust two-part construction. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing the product's structural integrity. VIS Racing has further refined their manufacturing process by implementing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. This hood comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws dictate otherwise. Hood pins are required for installation due to the unknown nature of intended uses. The fitment is specifically for 2005-2011 Porsche 997 2-door models.
