The VIS Racing 03BME632DOE-010C is a meticulously engineered carbon fiber hood crafted specifically for the BMW 6 Series E63, covering model years 2003 through 2010. This high-performance component is tailored for the BMW 645Ci (2004-2005), 650Ci (2006-2010), and 650i (2006-2010) models. Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a two-part design where the top carbon fiber layer is bonded to the surface with high-grade epoxy resin. It is finished with an ultra-clear, Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating for a brilliant high-gloss appearance. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that enhances structural integrity, and the edges are hand-finished for impeccable quality. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum. This results in components that are 10-20% lighter than previous methods while also improving durability. This weight reduction contributes to a tangible improvement in handling and ride quality.
